Hello fellow food / South Korea lovers!
We are an Australian wife and Korean husband couple currently living in South Korea.
This blog will follow our food adventures, travels and life in Korea. Our aim is to show off all the wacky and wonderful things of “The Land Of The Morning Calm” with Korean home cooked meals thrown in for good measure.
If you like any of the stories or photos and want to use them, please link/ site back to this blog ^^

Hi Chan and Bob,
My name is Ashlee. I’m co-founder of The Youshare Project, with the mission to connect people around the world through stories. I recently stumbled across your blog and have enjoyed reading about your experiences in South Korea, especially because you offer a glimpse into a place that not many people get to visit. I think you would be a perfect fit with youshare. If this sounds interesting to you, I would love to email you directly with more information and formally invite you to share a story about life in South Korea with the project.
You have my email address and website (although please note the site is still under development). I hope to hear from you soon.
Best,
Ashlee

I LOVE your blog! I think this is a fantastic idea, showing and telling people about Korean cultures through the eyes of a lovely couple. 🙂 I’m always looking for ways to tell people the real and less-formal contents about Korea, and your blog fits perfectly. Keep up the good work! Fighting!

Hi Chan!
I knew you had a blog, but it seems like every time I remember to look at it, I’m on the road with only my phone, and I hate using my phone to surf the Internet. So I’m off today, and I was like, “Oh, let’s check out the blog!” Although it’s shameful that it has taken me this long to actually find your blog, I’m so glad I did.
You and Bobby are officially the happiest couple ever. I love your videos, and I have really enjoyed reading your posts. Is it strange to say that you and your husband have such great chemistry since duh, you’re a married couple? But seriously you guys are so cute together. It seems like you’re really good at cooking and eating, which, speaking as someone who likes to eat and struggles to cook, seem to be two super-important things to (married) life. I think it would be really fun to collaborate on something in the future, that is, if you have time to take a break from hunting down the most delicious 맛집 ㅋㅋㅋ
Best ^^

Hey Caity,
Thanks for taking the time to check it out! 😀 Thank you also for your warm words 😀 ㅎㅎ It’s not all rainbows and sunshine but for the most, it’s enough 😉
Eating had become an obsession of mine since first coming to Korea. There is such an emphasis on food here! I once read that if you can master 10 recipes, then you’re set for life. That’s only five of each to get down pat! Did you master dakgalbi yet? Correct me if I’m wrong if that wasn’t your favourite dish.
Sure let’s collaborate, that will be fun! 😀
Take care *^_^*

I didn’t even try to make it yet! It’s one of my favorite dishes, but I’ve been on the road so much recently, I haven’t even had time to think about trying new dishes. I’ll definitely let you know when I do!!

Too true. They sound pretty and magical but are rather useless…around a pretty bouqet or hanging from “fairy trees” elevates them though 🙂
